Meet Dave
Dave Cash has called Stone County home for years. Dave and his wife Melody have been married 43 years, raised four kids, and now enjoy nine grandchildren.
Dave spent 22 years with the Springfield Police Department — working patrol, the Safe Streets Strike Force gang unit, the Federal Fugitive Task Force with the U.S. Marshals, and serving as both a Major Crimes Investigator in Patrol and later as an investigator in the Criminal Investigations Division. He knows evidence, records, chain of custody, and accountability from the inside out.
After 9/11, Dave answered a different call to serve. He spent five years embedded with U.S. military forces in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Senior Law Enforcement Advisor with a Top Secret security clearance— training personnel in evidence collection, crime scene processing, and counter-corruption. He went where it was hard because it needed to be done.
